Jimi Hendrix took me 'There' ...

Using music and smudging to elevate 'the vibe' around lunch time (or almost anytime) was helping mood and resiliency significantly ... enough to start becoming a bit of a small 'practice'. (Usually) Rock & Roll was cranked and the house smudged to improve the day a bit with meditation, prayer, and some groovin'. ...'more movement brought breath and exercise, and better mood. And, consciousness of appreciation and gratitude then escalated .., resulting in yet more vigorous jamming .., until at times it could get close to concert-level rocking.

I noticed something ...  For the past three Wednesdays, at about 12:30pm, tracks 4, 5, & 6 of Jimi Hendrix & A Band of Gypsys: New Year's Eve at the Filmore East was the 'Jam of the Day' and it happened each time right after the "Come Alive" passage in Message of Love. Jimi (& BoG) took me there. As I was rocking and passing the Joy of this Music to the rest of the World, I distinctly saw/felt a SunDance Tree being pulled up. Wednesday also happens to be Tree Day (when the Tree is taken, consecrated, and placed) for all of the Dances i know about. They would usually want to have them in place by noon, and laid over so that the ties and ropes can be placed.

Three times now this has happened. The inspiration from the 1st time, and the Energy right after that, is what prompted the creation of this sharing page ...

(Please send a Voice for our Rez relations as it seems these times are hitting them hard. I bet it's kinda nice that the tourists aren't everywhere this year though ...)
