Inspiration

Never believe anyone who tells you that you cannot or will not get well.

The documentary HEAL can be inspiring: https://www.healdocumentary.com/ - you can find it on their page and it is also on Netflix.

Listen to Your Body - Listen to Your Feelings  -  Your Body and Intuition will help to discern what is good for You

Meditation and Prayer

Essential - don't skip this - as much as possible.

I find that meditating while having sunshine in my eyes with bare feet on Earth does much good.

Guided meditations have proven to be quite effective for many people in dealing with illness and disease.

I find the following meditation (not the video) effective in improving my health in small but general increments: Chit Shakti for health meditation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vu4vUzxvRKA . I like to do this in a quiet place out in nature. My version now combines the breath work and light visualization (- i always forget to do the muscle tension stuff).

Exercise

Essential - don't skip this - as much as possible.

Out in the fresh air of Nature - as much as possible.

Nutrition

As close to the Earth as possible.

Good clean water. It is said to be the first medicine.

Fruits and vegetables as much as possible. (Yea, I know … we all know we have to do it …)

Tumeric may be good to add to the diet. Adding black pepper seems to help absorption: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/turmeric-and-black-pepper#safety-and-dosage

Garlic can help to cleanse the body and work on infections, but it can tax the body as well if used a lot.

Apricot Kernels are controversial as medicine for cancerous maladies, but may merit investigations. The Oasis of Hope site may have some useful information: https://www.oasisofhope.com/ .

Herbal Allies

Herbal medicines should be tried in minimal but regular doses to gauge if they can be tolerated and useful.

The body often needs time off from herbal medicines. An introductory general rule would be something like: 3 days on - 1 day off.

Do as much research as you can and read many of the articles about herbal remedies.

Adaptogenic herbs are likely to be helpful for cancerous maladies

Essiac Tea has been recommended many times for cancerous maladies.

Helpful herbs that may not be found in the literature are:

Osha Root (pea-sized pieces) chewed raw and boiled in teas can help the immune system and the respiratory tract. It is a strong herb and can have a drying effect.

Flat White Cedar (Thuja occidentalis) stems chewed raw and boiled in teas can help the immune system and the respiratory tract.

Cannabis - eaten may be  best if lung problems are present. i think Rick Simpson Oil is now legal in Alabama and may be worthy of investigation. Local folks can probably make the oil.

Alternative and Traditional Healing Methods

I have found that taking something away is often better than adding something where Healing is concerned.

Meditation and Prayer may inspire or lead to finding of healing methods or practitioners outside of the western norm. Try to be open and maybe some of them can help.

Researching Native or 1st-Nations practices will probably reveal testimonies as to the curative powers of their ways. I have known several instances of extraordinary healing in that world. Drumming, Smudging, and Tobacco/Prayer Ties can be done easily at home.
